Although the majority of chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present minimal or zero danger, several have been linked to significant health problems, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals gain entry to the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and lead to the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
