Though the majority of chemicals in cosmetic products present very little or no danger, some are associated with severe health conditions, such as developmental delays and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics gain entry to the body through inhalation, ingestion, and the skin, and lead to the same dangers as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer are found in water, food, and many other everyday items. However, no type of consumer items is subject to less government oversight than cosmetics and other personal products, including Mini Norvina Pro Pigment Vol. 1 (Shade B1).
