Although the majority of chemicals in cosmetic products pose limited or zero risk, several are associated with substantial medical conditions, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics gain entry to the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same dangers as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer are found in food, water, and lots of other common items. But, no group of consumer items is susceptible to less government direction than cosmetics, including Mini Norvina Pro Pigment Vol. 2 (Shade A3). While many of the chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products almost certainly present very little risk, exposure to a few has been associated with worrying health issues, such as cancer.
