Though most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose minimal or absolutely no danger, several dozen have been associated with considerable health problems, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics can enter a person's body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and cause the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
