Though many chemicals in beauty products present limited or no risk, several dozen have been linked with serious medical conditions, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics can enter a person's body through inhalation, the skin, and ingestion, and cause the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
