While many chemicals in cosmetic products present hardly any or zero danger, several dozen are linked to serious medical problems, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals gain entry to the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer are found in food, water, and several other ordinary products. However, no group of consumer products is subject to less government management than cosmetics, including Matte Lipstick (Shade Resin). While most of the contaminants and chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products almost certainly present little risk, subjection to some is linked to substantial health concerns, including cancer.
